COVID Campaign Introduction
As we approach this Holiday season, traditionally filled with gratitude, gifts, family gatherings, and shared meals, it’s essential to remember the importance of health and safety. While we create lasting memories for our loved ones and our community, we must also commit to preventing the spread of COVID-19. At His Daughters House, we believe that a grateful community is a healthy one. Together, we can ensure that our celebrations are both joyful and safe, allowing us to focus on what truly matters—cherishing moments with those we hold dear.
Our #HDHCOVIDcampaign is dedicated to raising awareness about COVID-19 prevention during the entire Holiday season. We recognize that this season is a time for connection and reflection; however, it’s also a crucial period to prioritize health and safety. Our campaign aims to provide you with essential tips and resources to help you gather safely and maintain the health of your loved ones.
Throughout this campaign, we will emphasize the significance of small preventive measures that can lead to substantial impacts on community health. By encouraging safe practices, sharing helpful resources, and fostering community engagement, we aim to create a supportive environment where everyone can enjoy a healthy and fulfilling Holiday Season. We invite you to embrace this spirit of gratitude and responsibility by following our guidelines and sharing your commitment to safety with others. Together, we can create a joyful and healthy community.

Covid Prevention Tips
Stay Home If You're Sick: If you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell or has symptoms of COVID-19, it’s best to stay home to protect others.

Limit Gatherings: Keep holiday gatherings small and limit the number of guests. Consider celebrating with just immediate family or those who have been part of your household bubble.

Outdoor Gatherings: If possible, host gatherings outdoors to reduce the risk of virus transmission. If indoors, ensure good ventilation by opening windows and doors.

Wear Masks: Consider wearing masks if not feeling well, during food preparation and serving.

Hand Hygiene: Provide hand sanitizer stations and encourage frequent handwashing with soap and water, especially before eating and after using the restroom.

Food Safety: Serve food in individual portions rather than family-style to minimize contact. Avoid sharing utensils and serving dishes.

Monitor Health Before the Gathering: Ask all guests to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms in the days leading up to the gathering. If someone feels unwell, they should stay home.

Testing Before the Event: If possible, encourage guests to get tested for COVID-19 before the gathering, especially if they will be traveling or coming from different locations.

Stay Updated on Local Guidelines: Be aware of and follow local health guidelines and regulations regarding gatherings, as they may change based on community transmission rates.
