Youth Research Program

We are excited to share an incredible opportunity for high school students to participate in the READY Program. This program is part of the 2025 American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting, which will take place in Denver, Colorado, from April 23-27, 2025.

The READY Program is a unique experience that allows students to present education-related research at a high-profile national conference. It offers valuable opportunities to attend workshops, network with education researchers and peers, and gain exposure to the broader field of education research.

To be eligible, participants you must be in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and interested in research. The team will include four to six students and be supervised by an education researcher or teacher. The research project will be relevant to the work we do at His Daughters House, an essential health and housing resource here in Riverside, CA.

At His Daughters House, we believe in empowering the next generation to be leaders and changemakers. By supporting you in this exciting research opportunity, we’re giving you the tools to explore real-world issues like housing stability and mental health—topics that matter and make a difference in your communities. We’re here to help you share your voice, showcase your talents, and inspire positive change for a better future.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form below.  Following your application, we will work together to outline the project’s objectives, methods, and any preliminary findings. Parental permission forms will also be required and collected in January.

We are working on a tight timeline, so the deadline for signing up is December 15, 2024.  Please let us know your interest and availability at your earliest convenience. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to info@daughtershouse.org.

We look forward to working with you to showcase the research and talents.
