About the Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all processes and functions are carried out efficiently, and maintaining a high standard of service. This role involves coordinating various departments, managing resources, and implementing strategies to optimize productivity and performance. The Operations Manager will work closely with senior leadership to achieve organizational goals and ensure the smooth running of the business.General Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities:

o Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficient and effective workflows.
o Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
o Monitor and improve operational performance to meet company objectives.
o Manage resources, including staff, and equipment to ensure optimal use.
o Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support.
o Set performance goals for team members and monitor their progress.
o Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
o Continuously assess and refine operational processes to align with industry best practices.
o Ensure all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
o Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
o Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies.
o Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
o Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to leadership.
o Analyze data and use metrics to drive decision-making and improve operational outcomes.
o Attend internal and external meetings and speak on behalf of the organisation.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

· Proven experience in an operations management role.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
