Financial Assistance & Donations (FAD) Program

His Daughters' House was founded with the idea that safety-net resources were critical for low-income single mothers. We understand that one may be short on funds to pay bills because they are struggling to make ends meet. We understand the need for assistance to fill the gaps that aren't covered by conventional methods.

Therefore, HDH with the backing of community foundation funds and generous donations, is able to offer a short-term financial assistance program or FAD, as we so affectionately call it.  This program is not designed to be a recurring donation, but a one time monetary or in-kind donation for women with children that need a safety net resource. This will assist with rent, utilities,  transportation and other miscellaneous costs that cannot be taken care of with public assistance resources.

Our FAD program also serves as a conduit to the other programs offered by HDH such as our CROWN resource network, our Queens Corner Mentoring Network, and our Radiant Rose Health, Wellness and Beauty Program.  Access to these programs are accessible through enrollment in our FAD program.

If you are a single mother in need of assistance, please contact us and select “FAD Program” in the drop down menu. We will contact you within 24 hours to conduct a needs assessment to determine how we can promptly assist you. Assistance is first come, first serve and limited to available funds.
