Domestic violence is defined as a pattern of behavior in any relationship that is used to gain or maintain power and control over an intimate partner. Abuse is physical, sexual, emotional, economic or psychological actions or threats of actions that influence another person.
HIS Daughters House
HIS Daughters House (HDH) is a non- profit organization founded with the vision to promote health and well-being.
HIS Daughters House mission is to provide short-term rental assistance and temporary housing solutions to fleeing survivors of domestic violence while connecting them with optional supportive services and community resources to assist in rebuilding their purpose and stability.
Our Purpose
HIS Daughters House is designed to provide an opportunity for homeless families or individuals fleeing domestic violence (DV) to access Rapid Rehousing in scattered site units in the community of the individual's choice utilizing the Housing First (HF) model with no preconditions for program entry.
In addition, our program focuses on rapid stabilization with flexible supportive services, safety planning, a trauma-informed approach to domestic violence advocacy, and a case management structure designed to support victims on their path toward creating safe and healthy lives.
Our Vision
Our vision is to facilitate a Domestic Violence trauma-informed resource network to increase responsiveness and strengthen the resource pool for those fleeing domestic violence within Riverside County.
Ultimately, within this coalition, His Daughters House would like to be a safety net for housing solutions as a foundation for a survivor's path toward self-efficiency.
